He has one or two good pitches; a changeup and maybe his slider. The other two, fastball, curve, and slider, are pretty bad, at least based on the way opponents are hitting them.<BR/><BR/>Opponents are batting .333 against Ponson's fastball, .409 against his curve, .200 against his slider, and .125 against his changeup.<BR/><BR/>And he's not overpowering anyone, either. Only 8% of his strikes are swing and misses. The major league average is 14%.<BR/><BR/>I just don't get how he's doing so well.
