I decided to be generous and donate money to Joe Torre's personal bank account. I picked up "The Yankee Years" at the North Haven, Conn., Barnes & Noble today (their last copy!).
I am not much of a reader, but now I have two books to read (thanks, Jane!).
Did anyone else go out and buy it today?

I have not. and I will not. I can hear all about it on the Talk Shows and fine blogs I subscribe too, And I will not give Torre and Verducci anymore change for their pockets.

Andrew, Jane's book is like a fine wine, meant to be savored. Joe's book is like a beer, slurped.
