The Colorado series

I know I have already previewed the upcoming series, but there is more to the story.

The Yankees were last in Denver in June of 2002. They won two of three games, scoring 41 runs. This is the most runs an opponent has scored in a three-game series at Coors Field.

What is even more interesting is that the Yankees' starters in June of 2002 were Mike Mussina, Andy Pettitte and Roger Clemens, in that order. Who are the Yankees' starters in June of 2007? Mussina, Pettitte and Clemens, in that order. With all of the turnover the Yankees' pitching staff has had over the years, it's amazing that all three are back and lined up exactly the same.
