Oakland A's outfielder Shannon Stewart (pictured) broke up Curt Schilling's no-hit bid in the bottom of the ninth with two outs this afternoon.
From all of us here in Yankees Universe, thank you Mr. Stewart. It would've been absolutely awful if we had to watch him being mobbed on the mound.
On a more somber note, the Red Sox won and snapped their four-game losing streak.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"

Of course this is the only thing you can talk about, because your team sucks and is lookin way up at the redsox. So if Schilling not getting a no hitter helps you feel better about your crappy team. Then happy day for you.
