Mike Mussina hasn't started since July 4, and it shows. For someone who always complains, makes excuses and pitches terribly when he has extra rest, why would Joe Torre pitch him on Sunday after the All-Star break? Sometimes I really wonder if Torre is paying attention.
Through two innings today, Mussina has given up three earned runs and six hits.
