Shelley Duncan has not played in the last two games. The Yankees have lost both of these games.
Coincidence? I think not.
Duncan also hasn't played in four of the last five team games. I guess Joe Torre forgot that Duncan is even on the team's roster.
At least use him as a pinch hitter if you're not going to start him.

I get that perhaps Duncan isn't the best in the field, but the DH right now is hitting like crap. Why would Torre not pinch hit for Damon in the 9th? I'm not sure he would have hit a 3 run home run or anything, but he couldn't have done any WORSE than hitting into a DP.
I'm sure I'm not saying anything new. Just had to get that out there.
All Damon does now is walk. Duncan definitely should've pinch hit at some point last night.
