Phil Hughes against the Detroit Tigers tonight:
3.2 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 3 BB, 2 K, 2 HR, 82 pitches for 50 strikes
It's getting to the point where it's a guaranteed loss when Hughes or Ian Kennedy pitch. While the growing pains were expected, the Yankees still have a payroll upwards of $200 million - meaning they aren't in a rebuilding year.
I can see a Darrell Rasner call up in the near future because this is getting ridiculous.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"
