Jorge Posada is not allowed to throw and won't catch during the two-game series in Tampa that begins tomorrow night, according to Ed Price. Posada believes he'll be ready to catch on Wednesday when the Yankees return home to face the Boston Red Sox.
The Yankees are pushing their luck by playing both Posada and Jose Molina in these games. I don't know about you, but I don't to see Morgan Ensberg behind the plate.

Oh I don't know, I like the comedy value of non-catchers catching, or position players pitching.
Josh Phelps caught an inning last year I think, although he was a catcher in the minors, unlike Ensberg.
Yeah, he caught one inning for the Yankees and then caught 16 more for the Pirates later in the season.
With the way the Yankees are playing, the least they can do is offer some comic relief.
