The news coming out of Chicago is that Alex Rodriguez will sit out tonight's game with a straight right quad and Jorge Posada will catch for the first time since April 8.
Posada was making throws from behind the plate for the first time since the injury earlier this afternoon. I guess Joe Girardi and friends thought he was ready to catch as a result.
I'll be back later with the game preview.
Update - 5:20 p.m.: Mrs. A-Rod gave birth to a baby girl last night in Miami, so that's where Alex is. He probably wouldn't have played tonight anyway. He should be back with the team on Thursday.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"
