If the top of the sixth inning wasn't a microcosm of the 2008 Yankees' season to date, I don't know what is.
Derek Jeter tripled with one out. Of course, he didn't score.
Bobby Abreu grounded out to short and Hideki Matsui popped out to short.
With Abreu, a lefty batter, you would think he'd be able to chop a ball to the right side of the infield to score Jeter. I mean, he seems to do that a lot anyway.
With a team struggling to score runs, they can't strand runners at third with less than two outs. Chien-Ming Wang is pitching fine. His only crime was giving up one earned run thus far. Too bad the Yankees have no runs.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"
