Posada showing more progress

Jorge Posada had another long day of rehabilitation today, making throws to second base and catching seven innings, according to the AP.

At the plate, Posada singled and grounded into a double play (shocker) in two at-bats.

“It feels good,” Posada said. “The more I throw, the better it feels. It’s coming along. I’m happy with the throwing today. I think I’m going to DH (Friday) and then Saturday go full-bore.”

The article goes on to say that Posada made five throws both to second base and third base and played long toss. He hopes to be back by the end of next week.
