Kyle Farnsworth tried to put the game out of reach, but pinch-hitting expert Jason Giambi would have none of it.
This is a huge, huge victory. The Yankees won the series against Toronto and are back to .500 once again.
At one point they were trailing 7-2, but the gritty, gutty Yankees (rolls eyes) were able to mount their biggest comeback of the season.
Chien-Ming Wang struggled again - and that's a major concern - but for now, celebrate this victory. They needed a win like this badly.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"

I think Farnsy is a double-agent for the Sox.
I believe Wang's command is struck between sinker and slider.
Few pitchers can master these two kinds of pitches at the same time. It'll take him some time to work out of the slump.
