Xavier Nady was named American League co-Player of the Week, along with Kansas City's Mike Aviles, in his first full week as a New York Yankee.
After going 0-for-7 in his first two games as a Yankee, Nady went on a tear, going 10-for-19 with three home runs and 10 RBI.
According to the article, Nady, while a member of the Pirates, won National League Play of the Week for the first week of the season.
Nady has put together a nice little season thus far. Between his two teams, he is batting .334/.390/.558 with 16 home runs and 67 RBI.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"
