I totally didn't see this coming.
Scott Proctor will have elbow surgery to repair a partially-torn flexor tendon and will have a bone spur in the back of his elbow shaved down, according to MLB.com's Ken Gurnick. Sounds fun, doesn't it?
Joe Torre gets the last laugh, I guess.
H/T to iYankees
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"

And Joe Torre's mission to destroy Scott Proctor has only hit Phase Two.
There are 37 phases.
If Torre had been the Yankees' manager this season, he would have Proctorized Latroy Hawkins.
Yep, Joe Torre is the "Proctorologist" of the MLB.
But how weird is it that Tanyon Sturtze followed Joe to the Dodgers? His arm was hanging off when he left the Bronx. It still is.
Sturtze knew Torre was the only one who would give him a shot.
I agree, anonymous. Torre would've loved Hawkins because of his "veteran presence."
