No surprises: Sabathia declines arbitration

It will be all CC Sabathia all the time this week, so get used to it.

In what pretty much was a formality, Sabathia officially declined arbitration, meaning that when Sabathia signs with the Yankees (or another team), the Brewers will receive two compensatory draft picks because of his Type A free-agent status. Ben Sheets, another Type A free agent, also declined arbitration.

The Brewers will have a nice amount of picks in the draft.
