Piggy-backing on what I said in the previous post, George King says the Brewers have enough money to "sweeten the pot" and could offer CC Sabathia a contract that includes an opt-out clause after three seasons (similar to A.J. Burnett's contract with the Toronto Blue Jays).
However, Sabathia is still waiting on offers from West Coast teams, and there is no word on if and when they will occur.
It's not even noon yet on the first day of this thing, and it's even earlier in Las Vegas. If this is an indication of how this week will be, this is going to be a very busy time for yours truly.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"
