Stadium worker injured

The AP is reporting that a Yankee Stadium construction worker was injured in a fall today. Here is its extremely terse update:

Firefighters say a construction worker has been hurt after falling off scaffolding at the new Yankee Stadium.

The Fire Department of New York says the worker was hospitalized in stable condition after tumbling about 12 feet Friday afternoon.

The Yankees haven’t commented.

The team’s $1.3 billion stadium is due to open April 16.

It sounds like he'll be fine.
