As expected, Angel Berroa has been called up to replace the injured Cody Ransom, according to Chad Jennings. Berroa is not on the 40-man roster, so the Yankees still need to make another move. While no move has yet been announced, Jennings suggested moving Xavier Nady to the 60-day DL.
Berroa, 31, is batting .316/.365/.491 with two home runs and 13 RBI in 57 at-bats for Scranton.
It was said last night that David Robertson was called up to take Chien-Ming Wang’s spot.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"
