"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"

Good, I’m glad

The top photo comes from Bronx Banter’s Cliff Corcoran at yesterday’s game, and he said this picture was taken around the third inning.  The bottom photo is from Getty Images.  I’m not sure when it was taken.

From everything I’ve seen and heard, it seems the upper decks have been full and the lower deck attendance has been sparse.  The Yankees will be forced to do something if this continues to be an issue.  I hope it continues to be an issue.

I love it.

I actually spoke about this with my friends today -how the Mets (because I didn't know if the same was true for the Yankees) with Shea it was always the corporations that had the field level season tickets and all the "real fans" got the "more affordable" tickets for mezzanine and upper deck levels so it was always full and the season tix areas were always empty. I'm afraid with the higher ticket prices, it looks like it's going to be the same for both new stadiums...

I'm hoping for the same thing as you, Andrew. The Yankee front office really overreached with their greed.

Jessica, it was like that in the old Stadium too, but the prices weren't as outrageous as they are now.

No seats should ever cost $2,600. Not for a building that has 81 games a year. It's absolutely ridiculous.
