Notes: Ian Kennedy has an aneurysm and will have surgery on Tuesday by the same doctor who operated on David Cone.

Update – 6:40 p.m.: Abraham has some updates in the above link.  Kennedy’s aneurysm is below his armpit and it is causing numbness in his fingers. … The Yankees designated Steven Jackson for assignment, keeping Angel Berroa around for at least a little longer.

Update – 7:15 p.m.: Wow.  That is all I have to say after watching Rodriguez homer on the first pitch he sees.  The Yankees have the lead for the first time since Saturday.
