Chad Jennings is reporting that the Yankees signed Casey Fossum and he will start today for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Fossum began the season in the Mets’ organization, first with Triple-A Buffalo before getting called up to the big leagues. He appeared in three games with the Mets, pitching four innings, allowing one earned run, walking four and striking out three.
