Wow

There are no words to describe the ending of tonight’s game. As the Jerk said, they should have lost. But someone, Luis Castillo, dropped the ball.

I have never seen anything like this before, and I doubt we’ll see something like this again for quite sometime.

Wow.

The Yankees practice that play all the time.

It seemed so improbable, and was one of the biggest gift wins a team can get. Tex running for home was so crucial to the win. It happened so quickly that I wasn't even sure what happened when Sterling was doing the play-by-play. At first when he mentioned that Castillo dropped the ball, I thought it was going to be one of those "everyone's safe" calls. Really, how often does a dropped pop-up turn into a walk-off win?

Listening to WFAN highlights afterwards, it was interesting hearing the action from their POV. The announcer was VERY enthusiastic as if it was going a routine game ending popup catch, and you could even hear the Mets fans roaring their approval at another A-Rod choke.

Well we know Sterling doesn't paint the greatest of pictures during the game. Teixeira was the real hero of the night.

Pshh... it reeked of may 20, 2006. we should have known the game was gonna end in some fantastic hybrid of the yanks resiliency slash the mets penchant for being the mets.
