Alex Rodriguez is definitely pressing. He's been swinging at garbage since getting to 499 career home runs.
At least he made good contact a couple of times tonight, driving the ball to the warning track twice.
What's disheartening is that he hasn't gotten a hit since reaching 499. He is 0 for his last 16. The Yankees are 2-3 over that span. It'll be best for everyone when he finally gets this home run out of the way.
I was kind of hoping he wouldn't hit the home run tonight, as I have tickets to tomorrow night's game. John Danks is starting, and Rodriguez is 0-3 with one strikeout against him.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"
