Derek Jeter wanted Alex Rodriguez to respond. Now he will.
According to Bob Raissman, Rodriguez will sit down with ESPN's Peter Gammons, admitting that he used steroids. More on this as it develops.
My initial reaction: I'm glad he came out relatively soon to admit guilt. I'm obviously disappointed he resorted to using drugs.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"

I totally agree with you. I've never been a fan of A-Rod because I think he's all about his image, but it's better to admit to using PED, even after it was leaked by someone else, than to keep denying it.
Look at Giambi and Clemens. Giambi took it on the chin and admitted his 'roid use, and now he's accepted by most fans. Clemens on the other hand decided to deny, deny, deny, and now he just looks like an idiot.
