The Evil Empire extends its tentacles into the Far East

The Yankees have signed two Chinese players.

The New York Yankees on Monday became the first major league team to sign Chinese players with approval of the Chinese Baseball Association after agreeing deals with lefthander Kai Liu and catcher Zhenwang Zhang.

The two 19-year-olds are due in New York in early July, where they will be introduced at a news conference before heading to the Yankees Player Development Complex in Tampa, Florida (source).

I obviously know nothing about either of them. I don't even know what labels to give this post.
