"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"

Back to .500

I'm sick of writing this headline.

We're all waiting for this team to make its move. No team in the league has distanced itself and despite being 33-33 through 66 games, the Yankees are still very much in contention. However, eventually, their run needs to begin. And it needs to begin as soon as possible.

They can't continue to play up and down baseball until the end of July. They just can't. Teams will start to play better and the Yankees will regret missing their opportunity.

I'm tired of getting exciting when they put together a two-game winning streak. I begin to think that they'll finally get going. But it just hasn't happened yet.

The Yankees will have a chance to take this series in Oakland tonight. However, with Andy Pettitte going, nothing is a guarantee.
