Darrell Rasner's final line tonight: 3.2 IP, 9 H, 7 R, 6 ER, 1 BB, 4 K
His bad inning (the third) materialized after Jason Giambi's error - he gave up five straight hits at one point - so maybe he just pulled a Mike Mussina. After all, Rasner did pitch eight solid innings against Kansas City last Friday, so I'll reserve judgment until at least the next start.
What makes this all the more frustrating is that the Yankees are one game over .500 and they are losing 7-1 after four innings. Who would have thought that getting to two games over .500 would be so elusive?
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"
