Stupid fans get another chance to cheer for Griffey

Remember when Ken Griffey Jr. hit a home run in his supposed final game at Yankee Stadium and got a substantial ovation?

It bothered me, and it bothered then-Yankee Kyle Farnsworth as well.

Well, Griffey was traded to the Chicago White Sox this afternoon. They will make a four-day trip to Yankee Stadium in the middle of September. Hopefully the fans will have learned better by then, but I doubt it.
