Former Yankee Tino Martinez turns 41 today.
In his time with the Yankees from 1996-2001, 2005, the Yankees won four World Series titles. While he struggled at times in the postseason, he hit two of the biggest home runs in Yankees playoff history - his grand slam in Game 1 of the 1998 World Series and his game-tying home run in the ninth inning of Game 5 of the 2001 World Series.
Happy birthday, Tino.
In other (future Yankee) news, Brian Cashman will most likely meet with CC Sabathia in Las Vegas today. The Winter Meetings begin tomorrow.
"Now, what is this site about, how Joe Torre ruined pitchers' arms? Is that it?"
