ESPN, somehow, finds a way to make SNB worse

I was going to write about this earlier today, but I forgot. So thank Vazzano for bringing it to my attention again.

The Watchdog is reporting that ESPN will not remove Joe Morgan from the "Sunday Night Baseball" booth, as was previously rumored. In fact, they will add Steve Phillips to it.

ESPN really outdid itself here. It managed to take an already awful product and make it worse. I can't say that I'm shocked, however. I'm just happy that MLB Network's game night programming will begin to make "Baseball Tonight" obsolete.

Steve Phillips? Noooooo. He's way worse than Joe Morgan.

That may bring the downfall of America, Here is hoping Obama signs a executive order banning Morgan and Phillips from TV forever.

Joe Morgan has to be the worst commentator i have heard in years. He must have compromising Photos of the commissioner.

That wouldn't surprise me, Anonymous. Phillips must have photos too. He was an awful GM, and now he's an awful analyst.

This could be a good thing. It could signal the return of FireJoeMorgan.com.

I never could stand Morgan's "non-analysis" commentating, always stating the obvious. When he doing the announcing with Bob Costas at NBC, he'd say something like: "And you know something, Bob? The reason why Player X can steal so many bases is because he is a fast runner."

He's the John Madden of baseball.
