Saturday YanksBlog.com recap

For the second straight Saturday, the Yankees won in walk-off fashion.  This time, Alex Rodriguez hit a game-tying home run and Melky Cabrera hit the game-winning RBI single.

These walkoffs never get old!

It's always good to see an opposing team's ace reliever get the crushing loss. (And Papelbon followed suit, thankfully!)

Couldn't stand McCarver, doing his usual worst at trying to sound objective when the Yankees scored the winning run.

After tomorrow, the Yankees can do no worse than an 8-2 homestand, which was at least the *minimum* I was hoping for.

And I was hoping for something like 6-4! Good call on that, Kongon!
