Chase Wright, who was recently designated for assignment, was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers today for LF Eric Fryer.
Fryer, 23, batted .335/.407/.506 with 10 home runs and 63 RBI in 385 at-bats with the Class-A West Virginia Power last season.
Meanwhile, the Brewers also signed old friend Ramiro Mendoza to a minor-league deal.
