Here is an updated look at the American League East standings and the American League Wild Card standings. As I'm writing this, the Texas Rangers game is still in progress, but they're irrelevant. For some reason there was another night game in addition to the ESPN game tonight.

Since the last look at the standings, the Yankees have gone 6-1 and gained 3.0 games in the AL East standings. The Red Sox went 3-4 over that same time period.
In the Wild Card standings, the Yankees have gained 1.5 games. The Tigers went 4-2.
