Time for our latest installment of Yankees FML.
Today, my starting pitcher needed 61 pitches to get three outs. He gave up eight earned runs and his ERA actually went up from 17.18! He has now given up 15 hits, 15 earned runs and six walks in 4 2/3 innings this season, while striking out only one batter. FML
Bonus Yankees FML!
Today, my outfielder/first baseman pitched an inning of relief and was actually our best pitcher today. FML
There’s no sense in recapping this game. Chien-Ming Wang and the rest of the pitches, sans Nick Swisher (!!!), were all awful. Wang kept leaving the ball up and got killed as a result. There’s always tomorrow.
