A look at the standings

Here is an updated look at the American League East standings and the American League Wild Card standings:

Since the last look at the standings, the Yankees went 2-4. They lost three games in the AL East standings and lost two games in the wild-card standings.

The Rays magic number to eliminate the Yankees in the AL East is 15. The Red Sox magic number to eliminate the Yankees in the wild-card is 20.

As of today Yanks only 7 games out of Wildcard but websites saying they only have a 3% chance of making playoffs. How is that possible? i bet them at +15 to 1 at this website:

Seems like a steal. Phillies made up 7 games last year in a few weeks. Any opinions?

I don't think it'll happen. I think Boston is much better than the Mets were last year, and it's very rare to see a collapse like that.
